“Are you free?”—the worst message in Perm after dark
Ilya sent eight identical messages and got silence. The ninth sounded human, and the night finally found a voice.

At 11:07 p.m., Ilya lay on a sofa in Motovilikha, scrolled listings, and sent the same line to everyone: “Hi, free?” Eight messages produced two automatic replies, one dead-end “yes,” and five blue ticks. He decided Perm was cold tonight, although the only cold thing was his opening.
The ninth profile belonged to Marina. Her description said she liked slow sex, strong coffee, and men capable of a thought longer than one word. Ilya laughed and typed: “I am in Motovilikha, available after midnight, looking for two calm hours and a massage without a circus. Are you receiving tonight?”
“Now we can talk,” came the reply.
Flirting starts with specifics
They quickly matched district, rate, and general format. Marina then asked what he definitely did not want. Ilya skipped the porn-menu recital: no rush, no rough scene, protection required. A joke followed, then a voice note, then the pleasant tension people hope to find when they open fresh listings.
Vulgarity can be charming too. “I want to kiss your ass” has heat after two adults have aligned timing, boundaries, and mood. Thrown at a stranger as an opening line, the same words are just litter in somebody else's phone.
One message with a person inside it
A useful first contact gives the district, time, duration, and broad idea. It does not need a biography or an intimate interrogation. It merely gives the other adult room to say yes, no, or suggest a different plan.
By 12:12, Ilya had forgotten the eight ignored messages. Perm after dark was perfectly able to answer. It simply preferred being spoken to like a person instead of being poked with the word “free.”
